The Serology Group performs the examination of blood samples from animals and birds, cow’s milk, and, in certain cases, pig meat juice and poultry egg yolk samples using various serological methods to detect antibodies against different infectious disease agents. In some cases, post-vaccination antibodies are also determined. Additionally, early pregnancy diagnosis is conducted on blood and milk samples from cows, goats, and sheep.
