The pathology group employs highly qualified specialists in the assessment of animal pathologies using pathological-anatomical, histological, morphological methods, as well as biochemical analyses. At the request of the clients, the leading experts draw conclusions on the pathology detected and comment on its causes, as well as advise on the possible relationship of the results of biochemical tests to the health status of the animals. The complex laboratory diagnostic monitoring of transmissible spongiform encephalopathies in animals by confirmatory methods and the monitoring of the presence of prohibited protein components of animal origin in animal feed by microscopic methods play an important role in the work of the group.
