On January 1, 2019, the BIOR institute, in cooperation with the National Agency for Education Development (SEDA), launched a research application No. 1.1.1.2/VIAA/2/18/247 ” Ultra-high-resolution mass spectrometry as an effective tool for the analysis of food contamination: development of new analytical methods and application to real samples”. The project is implemented by leading researcher Dzintars Zacs.
During the reference period from 01.04.2019 to 30.06.2019 a continuous review of scientific literature and information on methods of persistent organic pollutant analysis using high-resolution mass spectrometry was done.
Two scientific publications devoted to the analysis of persistent organic pollutants ising high resolution mass spectrometry methods were published:
Cooperation institution SEDA. Project duration is 36 months. The total cost of the project is EUR 133 805.88, of which 85% (EUR 113 734.98) is the European Regional Development Fund.
