On January 1, 2019, the BIOR institute, in cooperation with the National Agency for Education Development (SEDA), launched a research application No. 1.1.1.2/VIAA/2/18/247 ” Ultra-high-resolution mass spectrometry as an effective tool for the analysis of food contamination: development of new analytical methods and application to real samples”. The project is implemented by leading researcher Dzintars Zacs.
During the reference period from 01.01.2021 to 31.03.2021 verification of developed analytical methods and analyses of food products was performed. Observed data were summarized and systematized.
One publication on the problems of chlorinated paraffins in food was prepared and published in popular science magazine “Saimnieks”:
