During the 12th period (01.10.2021.-31.12.2021.):
Two research visits to Lappeenranta Technical University in Finland have taken place, and these visits were led by professor Tuomo Sainio (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=y_jVxy8AAAAJ&hl=th). During these visits, sorption studies in column mode (with different flow rates) were conducted, using previously described biosorbents, such as pea skins and buckwheat husks.
A review article Magnetic adsorbents for effective removal and recovery of rare earth elements from liquid phase: A systematic and critical review has been submitted for publication. The article provides information on magnetic adsorbents for the adsorption of rare earth metals, including a detailed overview of the analytical methods used in the research – thermogravimetry, SEM, TEM, XRD, FTIR, VSM. Preprint is available here: shorturl.at/jtzG7
