During the 9th period (01.01.2021.-31.03.2021.):

• Participation in online mobility activities has started. Three online training courses organized by the Technical University of Lappeenranta (Finland) – Knowledge Discovery and Process Data Analysis, Nano and Hybrid Materials, and Environmental and Industrial Analytics. The total workload of all courses – 390 h.
• Work has also continued on the preparation of the chapter for the book Advanced Materials for Sustainable Environmental Remediation: Terrestrial and Aquatic Environments (published by Elsevier). A wide range of experts has been involved in the preparation, thus strengthening cooperation with other research groups in Latvia.
• In-depth knowledge of the preparation and management of scientific projects was acquired by participating in several seminars.
• Participation in the event Ideation session on potential solutions in the water technology sector organized in accordance with the directions important for the European Union and Latvia (organized by the Ministry of Education and Science and Riga Technical University).

The cooperating institution – The State Education Development Agency (SEDA). The duration of the project – 36 months. Total costs – 133 805.88 EUR, of which 85% (113 734.98 EUR) is financed by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
