Pārtikas drošības, dzīvnieku veselības un vides zinātniskais institūts ”BIOR” konsorcijā ar galveno Koordinatoru - Tartu Universitātes Igaunijas jūras lietu institūtu (University of Tartu, Estonian Marine Institute) un citiem 11 sadarbības partneriem no Dānijas, Polijas, Zviedrijas, Vācijas un Somijas –  laikā no 2017.gada 1.februāra līdz 2018.gada 31.janvārim īstenoja 4.posmu BONUS EEIG pētniecības projektā „Telpisku procesu integrācija ekosistēmas modeļos zivju resursu ilgtspējīgai izmantošanai” (INSPIRE).

BONUS projekta noslēdzošajā 4.posmā pamatā tika turpināta projektā ievāktā materiāla analīze un rezultātu prezentācija dažādos zinātniskos pasākumos, no kuriem svarīgākais bija BONUS simpozijs, kurā piedalījās vairāk nekā 100 zinātnieku. Simpozijs notika Tallinā, Igaunijā 2017. gada 17. – 19.oktobrī. Simpozijā piedalījās sekojoši INSPIRE projektā iesaistītie BIOR pētnieki: Georgs Korņilovs, Māris Plikšs, Tatjana Baranova un Andrejs Makarčuks.

Institūta "BIOR" projekta īstenošanas 4.posma izmaksas bija 38 475.30 EUR apmērā, no tām Latvijas valsts dotācija ir 19 237.65 EUR, Eiropas Komisija nodrošina 19 237.65 EUR.
