Signed Cooperation Agreement on Horizon 2020 Project "European Researchers'Night in Latvia 2018-2019" Event " European Researchers' Night 2018" implementation
On July 12, 2018, The State Education Development Agency (SEDA) and Institute of Food Safety, Animal Health and Environment “BIOR” signed a cooperation agreement on Horizon 2020 project “European Researchers'Night in Latvia 2018-2019” (NIGHTLV-2018 -2019, Project No. 819129) on the implementation of the European Researchers' Night 2018 on 28 September 2018.
Within the framework of the project, the program of European Researchers' Night 2018 has been elaborated in accordance with the planned NIGHTLV-2018-2019 WP2, as well as the implementation of this program of activities at Institute BIOR on 28 September, 2018.
According to the project proposal 4 Work Packages will be implemented:
WP1 publicity activities organized by SEDA;
WP3 collection statistical data for the Impact Assessment of the European Researchers' Night;
WP4 project management.
European Researchers' Night is an event initiated by the European Commission, which takes place every year on the last Friday of September, explaining in a binding way the achievements of science and allowing us to look at the secrets of scientific laboratories. The night of scientists takes place in parallel every year in all European Union countries.
Total funding for Institute BIOR for European Researchers' Night 2018 and European Researchers' Night 2019 is EUR 11,150.00 including the European Commission's co-financing of 8,362.00 EUR and state budget co-finansing is 2788.00 EUR.
The project is being implemented over a 20-month period starting from 1 May 2018.
